Getting Started on Amazon UAE
Selling on Amazon UAE (Amazon.ae) is one of the most powerful ways to reach millions of shoppers across the UAE and wider GCC region. With over 50 million monthly visits, Amazon UAE represents a significant opportunity for businesses of all sizes.
Step 1: Prepare Your Documents
Before registering as an Amazon UAE seller, you will need: a valid UAE trade license, Emirates ID or passport, UAE bank account details, and a registered business address in the UAE.
Step 2: Choose Your Selling Plan
Amazon UAE offers two selling plans. The Individual plan charges AED 1 per item sold with no monthly subscription fee, while the Professional plan costs AED 180/month but unlocks bulk listing tools, advanced reports, and the ability to win the Buy Box.
Step 3: Product Listing
Optimised product listings are critical to visibility and conversion. Your listing should include keyword-rich titles, detailed bullet points, high-quality images (at least 6), and an accurate product description. Consider investing in A+ Content to boost conversion rates by up to 10%.
Step 4: Choose Your Fulfilment Method
You can fulfil orders yourself (FBM — Fulfilled by Merchant) or use Amazon's FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon) service. FBA products are eligible for Prime and generally rank higher in search results. For UAE sellers, FBA is the recommended approach for scaling.
Step 5: Launch and Advertise
Once your listings are live, use Amazon Sponsored Products ads to drive initial traffic. Set a daily budget of AED 50–100 to start, and optimise bids based on performance data after 2–3 weeks.
